Restriction Orifice

INTRODUCTION

Restriction Orifice or RO plates are mainly used to induce fluid pressure drop and permanent pressure loss of line is intended. ROs are used also to reduce flow rate and temperature based on the process requirement. For a specified pressure and temperature, the area of orifice bore is determining outlet flow rate. RO thickness, bore type and area and size, are parameters effecting plates pressure drop. For a higher pressure loss, several plates with different bore areas, or multi-hole plates are arranged within a spool piece to achieve the required pressure drop.

Eratech group design diverse restriction orifice plates in accordance with ISO 5167 and based on customer demands. Our team has manufactured a variety restriction orifice plates and restriction orifice assembles for different industries. From oil & gas to water treatment units, Eratech products are installed globally.
